NASCAR news july 17 2011, Kyle Busch bad day | The US Trends | It wasn't easy like Sunday morning for Kyle Busch.Busch has a simple explanation for his showing in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, in which he slapped the wall a couple times and blew a tire - all before the race was 20 percent complete.
"This morning, (I) woke up and everything went wrong that could go wrong," said Busch, who was denied a chance at career NASCAR win No. 101. "Pretty much seemed right."
On lap 60, the bead melted on one of Busch's tires due to excess brake heat, and some contact with Dale Earnhardt Jr. sent the No. 18 car into the wall. After the incident, Busch acted quickly to defuse any media attempt to fabricate a feud between him and Earnhardt.
"There is contact with everybody out there," Busch said. "It had nothing to do with anybody else. Just blew a bead. Too much brake heat transferring through the wheel and blew a tire. Nothing else besides that."
The setback was costly for Busch, who dropped from first to fifth in the points standings after finishing 36th - 71 laps behind winner Ryan Newman. - The US Trends
